Job Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to ensure efficient and timely transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The driver will also assist with stock handling and administrative duties linked to deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
As a Code 10 Driver, your duties will include:
- Transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed within scheduled timeframes
- Monitoring the loading and offloading of stock to ensure accuracy
- Maintaining proper stock control and preventing losses or damages
- Reporting all incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues promptly
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
- Completing delivery documentation and related administrative tasks
- Adhering to company policies and road safety regulations
- Supporting operational efficiency and minimizing risks
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- At least 3 years of driving experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
