Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced General Worker to join our Hoppla bag manufacturing division. This role is central to our production efficiency, focusing on operating key machinery, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and ensuring seamless workflow. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who excels under pressure, demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, and is committed to upholding the highest levels of productivity and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities and Performance Areas:

· Operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on specialized fabric slitting machines to ensure optimal functionality.
· Diligently check product quality at various stages, ensuring all output meets our stringent company standards and specifications.
· Achieve daily and weekly productivity targets while maintaining a consistent focus on efficiency and resource management.
· Manage stock levels for binding materials, ensuring the factory has necessary supplies to run without interruption.
· Assist with packing and unpacking finished products and raw materials as required by production demands.
· Promptly identify and report any mechanical issues, quality discrepancies, or safety hazards to supervisors.
· Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
· Adhere strictly to all prescribed health and safety regulations and protocols.
· Provide flexible support across other positions or departments in line with evolving operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

· Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
· Proven experience of 2 to 4 years in a machine operating environment, preferably within a manufacturing or production setting.
· Willingness and ability to work overtime, weekends, and shifts as required by operational demands.
