International Facilities Services is currently recruiting for a Driver to join its operations team in Rustenburg. Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of this role is to provide dependable driving services to the site. The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods, documentation, and staff to designated locations while ensuring that all operational and safety procedures are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities
Collection and Delivery Duties
The Driver will be expected to carry out scheduled and unscheduled collections and deliveries efficiently. This includes transporting goods, official documents, and personnel to various locations while adhering to time constraints and operational requirements.
You will ensure that all documentation related to deliveries and collections is accurately completed and submitted. Attention to detail is essential, as proper record-keeping supports accountability and operational efficiency.
Before each trip, you will be required to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle. This includes checking fuel and oil levels, inspecting brakes, lights, windscreen wipers, and ensuring that all safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and warning devices are in proper working condition.
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness is also a critical part of the role. The vehicle must be kept clean and presentable at all times, reflecting professionalism and care.
You will be responsible for completing trip logs for every journey, recording key details such as distance traveled, fuel usage, and any incidents encountered. Additionally, loading and unloading of goods must be done carefully, ensuring that cargo is properly secured to prevent damage or safety risks during transit.
The Driver will also assist in coordinating regular vehicle maintenance and servicing. Accurate records of refueling activities must be maintained, and any issues related to vehicle performance should be reported promptly.
Safety, Health, Environment, and Compliance
Safety is a top priority in this role. The Driver must ensure that both the vehicle and transported goods comply with all relevant safety and transportation regulations.
You will be required to follow all road traffic laws and company transport procedures at all times. Regular inspections of the vehicle must be conducted to identify any mechanical issues or potential risks. Any faults or maintenance needs should be reported immediately to prevent breakdowns or accidents.
In the event of an accident or incident, the Driver must report it to the Camp Manager without delay, and no later than 24 hours after occurrence. Adherence to company policies, including the Code of Conduct and disciplinary guidelines, is mandatory.
Teamwork and Self-Management
This role requires a high level of personal accountability and self-discipline. The Driver must take ownership of assigned tasks and demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills.
Meeting deadlines and maintaining productivity standards are essential. If any delays or challenges arise, you are expected to communicate proactively with relevant stakeholders and provide solutions where possible.

Required Knowledge and Competencies
Knowledge

Skills

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with a valid PDP
- At least 3 years of driving experience in a similar role
- Formal training in advanced driving skills will be advantageous
