About the Opportunity
Adendorff Machinery Mart is looking for a confident, customer-focused and technically minded individual to join its Centurion branch as a Counter Sales – Tools & Machinery team member.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an interest in tools and machinery, and can combine strong sales ability with practical product knowledge. The successful candidate will play an important role in assisting customers, generating sales and ensuring that the branch maintains a professional and welcoming environment.
As a Counter Sales representative, you will be one of the first people customers interact with when visiting the branch. You will therefore need to understand their requirements, provide suitable product guidance and help them make informed purchasing decisions. A strong commitment to customer service and the ability to communicate confidently are essential.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will contribute to the smooth operation and growth of the branch by carrying out a range of sales, customer service and administrative responsibilities.
Duties will include:
- Assisting customers with product selection and providing knowledgeable advice on tools, machinery and related products.
- Driving sales and contributing towards the achievement of branch and business growth objectives.
- Building positive relationships with customers through professional and reliable service.
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels and assisting with stock control procedures.
- Following established branch policies, procedures and operational instructions.
- Supporting administrative and managerial activities when required.
- Helping to maximise sales opportunities through excellent product knowledge and customer engagement.
- Promoting a positive image of Adendorff Machinery Mart through high-quality customer service.
- Assisting with staff supervision and supporting colleagues as part of a productive branch team.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and ensuring that the branch remains organised and presentable.
- Continuously developing product knowledge and keeping up to date with the tools and machinery offered by the company.
- Supporting the branch team in achieving operational and commercial targets.
Who Should Apply?

Minimum Requirements
