Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Be Doing
When called upon, your duties will be dynamic and essential to our daily operations. You must be prepared for a hands-on role that requires physical stamina. Your tasks may include, but are not limited to:
· Warehouse Operations: Assisting with the efficient packing and handling of stock, ensuring products are stored correctly and safely.
· Logistics Support: Working closely with our drivers. This includes managing delivery paperwork, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
· Heavy Lifting & Loading: Actively participating in loading and offloading trucks. This is a physically demanding task that requires the ability to lift heavy bags weighing up to 40kg (approximately 88 lbs) consistently and safely.
· General Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by cleaning and maintaining the warehouse and all surrounding work areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
· Delivery Assistance: On occasion, you may be required to accompany drivers on delivery routes. This could involve travel to distant locations and helping with offloading at customer sites.
Minimum Requirements: Do You Have What It Takes?
To be considered for this casual general worker position, you must meet the following essential criteria:
· Education: Must have a Grade 12 (Matric) / NQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
· Residency: You must live in Mbombela (Nelspruit) and surrounding areas. The ability to report for duty on short notice is absolutely critical.
· Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed and seeking temporary work opportunities.
· Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous tasks, including repeated heavy lifting (up to 40kg).
· Language Skills: Excellent reading and writing skills in English are required to understand instructions and complete paperwork accurately.
Advantageous Skills & Qualifications

· Driver’s License: A valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s license with a PrDP (Professional Driving Permit) is a major advantage. Any higher license code is also beneficial.
