Pedros Griller in Tembisa is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Team Member to join our fast-paced food service operation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Food Preparation & Quality Control
· Prepare and cook menu items according to Pedros Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
· Ensure all products meet quality standards before customer delivery
· Maintain consistent portion control and recipe adherence
· Monitor food stock levels and communicate replenishment needs
· Handle food items safely and hygienically at all times
Hygiene & Food Safety
· Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen and service areas
· Follow all food safety protocols as mandated by company SOP
· Ensure proper food storage, rotation, and temperature control
· Conduct regular cleaning of equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
· Comply with health regulations and company sanitation guidelines
Customer Service
· Provide friendly, efficient service to all customers
· Address customer queries and requests professionally
· Work collaboratively with team members during peak hours
· Maintain a positive attitude that reflects Pedros brand values
· Ensure customer satisfaction with every order
Operational Duties
· Assist with opening and closing procedures as required
· Support team members during busy periods
· Follow all safety and security protocols
· Maintain organized workstations
· Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards
REQUIREMENTS
Education
· National Senior Certificate (Grade 12/Matric) – Essential
Experience
· Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant or fast food service – Required
· Experience working in high-volume food establishments – Advantageous
