About the Role
Rand Water is currently recruiting a Stores Cleaner to join the Bulk Water Services team. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained within the Administrative offices and the Valve Stores. This position requires a reliable individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a safe and orderly environment in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities (Duties)
· Perform general cleaning and dusting of Administrative offices.
· Ensure the Valve Stores area is kept clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
· Clean and sanitize bathrooms located in the Main Store and Valve Store areas.
· Order and maintain cleaning supplies and grocery stock (e.g., tea, coffee, sugar).
· Adhere to all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards while performing duties.
· Dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
· Report any maintenance or repair needs within the facilities to the relevant supervisor.
Minimum Requirements (Qualifications & Experience)
· Education: Grade 12 or N3 qualification.
· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial cleaning environment.
· Physical Requirements: Must possess strong physical ability and be proficient in heavy-duty cleaning procedures.
Required Knowledge and Skills
· Knowledge: Basic understanding of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) principles.
· Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Technical: Basic computer literacy is required.

· High Drive: Must be motivated to complete tasks efficiently without constant supervision.
· Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
· Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
