Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Conducting routine cycle counts and assisting with scheduled stock takes.
- Investigating stock variances and supporting corrective actions.
- Ensuring the FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation method is consistently followed.
- Managing storage space efficiently within the assigned department.
- Confirming that no stock remains on hold unnecessarily.
- Supporting warehouse operations by ensuring stock count preparations are completed.
- Ensuring outsourced personnel comply with health and safety regulations and warehouse operating procedures.
- Assisting supervisors by ensuring operational instructions are carried out effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Previous experience in a stock control or inventory-related role will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
