Key Responsibilities

- Supporting inventory activities, including receiving, ordering, arranging and monitoring stock.
- Ensuring parts and accessories are properly organised and presented within the sales area.
- Monitoring customer requirements and sharing relevant market or product information with colleagues.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to support departmental sales performance.
- Maintaining a high standard of accuracy when dealing with orders, stock information and customer requests.
- Building long-term relationships with customers through reliable service and professional communication.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have demonstrable experience relevant to the position. Experience in automotive parts sales will be advantageous, although candidates with suitable backgrounds in retail sales or customer service may also be considered.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Practical knowledge of automotive parts, vehicle systems and basic repair processes.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing sales environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Good interpersonal skills and confidence when dealing with different types of customers.
- Evidence of working towards and achieving sales targets.
- The ability to contribute effectively to a team environment.
- Computer literacy and the ability to work with basic computer applications.

Additional Qualifications and Skills
Formal training or certification in automotive technology, automotive parts or parts management would be an advantage.
Previous exposure to inventory management systems can also strengthen an application. Hyundai SA also indicates that applicants who can communicate in English and Afrikaans or another South African language may have an advantage.
