About the Role
A great opportunity is available for an entry-level Junior Clerk (Stockpile) within the mining sector. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in gold mining operations, specifically in ore handling and stockpile management.
You will play a key role in tracking and recording material movement from underground operations while ensuring proper stockpile procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and record daily ore deliveries from underground operations
- Ensure correct dumping of materials into designated areas such as crusher, reef, or waste zones
- Follow stockpile control and sampling procedures accurately
- Work closely with supervisors and follow shift instructions
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and operational policies
- Support efficient material handling within the mining process
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10, Grade 11, or Grade 12 (or equivalent qualification)
- Basic communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- 1–2 years of experience in a mining environment (preferred)
- Clear criminal record
- South African citizenship
