Cielo Alberton is currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join its operational team in Johannesburg. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, reliable, and eager to support daily operations in a busy retail environment.
The successful candidate will assist with stock handling, showroom support, housekeeping duties, and operational tasks across departments. The role requires someone who enjoys practical work, works well within a team, and can maintain high standards of organisation and cleanliness.
JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to support operational departments by performing general labour duties and assisting with the smooth running of daily activities within the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle and move stock safely and efficiently
- Assist with showroom operations and support activities
- Support assembly and repair-related tasks when required
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Assist operational and technical teams with daily duties
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Keep work areas organised and operational
- Provide general assistance to supervisors and team members
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 qualification preferred
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Warehouse experience will be advantageous
- Technical experience will be beneficial
- Ability to perform physically active duties
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
