About the Role
The Driver Assistant will play an important role in supporting daily delivery operations within the distribution division. The successful candidate will work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, supervisors, and customers to ensure that stock is delivered safely and efficiently.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Driver Assistant will be responsible for assisting with several operational and delivery-related tasks. These include:
Daily Reporting and Delivery Preparation
- Reporting to work on time to ensure all delivery schedules are completed successfully
- Assisting with the handover process between the warehouse and delivery vehicle
- Checking delivery documentation before departure
- Ensuring all required paperwork is available for deliveries and collections
- Making sure the company tablet is available and operational daily
Loading and Unloading Deliveries
- Assisting with loading stock onto delivery vehicles
- Ensuring products are packed securely to prevent damage during transportation

Customer Service Responsibilities
- Delivering orders professionally and on time

Vehicle and Delivery Support
- Assisting in checking the general condition of the vehicle daily
- Helping keep the interior of the vehicle clean and organised

- Following company procedures and standard operating processes during incidents
Product Collection Duties
- Collecting damaged, defective, or returned wine stock when instructed
- Recording upliftment details accurately according to company procedures
- Ensuring all returned products are documented properly
Appearance and Professional Conduct

- Maintaining a clean and professional appearance
