Job Overview
Barron, a leader in the wholesale industry, is seeking reliable and hardworking Production Display & Sublimation General Workers to join our fast-paced manufacturing facility in Johannesburg. You will play a crucial role in our operations, supporting both the Display and Sublimation departments while assisting with garment preparation and order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities
As a General Worker in our production team, your daily tasks will be diverse. You will be expected to move between departments to ensure production runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
Display Department Support
· Assisting with the assembly and finishing of various display materials and components.
· Conducting visual inspections to ensure all display products meet strict quality standards.
· Handling, packaging, and storing display items correctly to prevent damage.
· Supporting the setup of display units for quality checks and production readiness.
· Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace within the display area.
Sublimation Department Support
· Preparing materials for the sublimation printing process, including fabrics, garments, and rigid substrates.
· Ensuring the correct alignment and placement of items for printing.
· Assisting with the finishing of sublimated items.
· Inspecting finished products for print quality, colour accuracy, and any visual defects.
· Handling post-printing tasks such as cooling, precise trimming, and packaging.
Garment Preparation & Housekeeping
· Ironing garments before they go to print or dispatch to guarantee a neat, professional finish.
· Performing light cleaning on garments as required prior to processing.
· Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness for all work surfaces, production equipment, and general work areas.
Order Preparation & Packing
· Accurately packing completed orders according to specific customer requirements.
· Labelling and sealing parcels for dispatch, ensuring correct quantities and product types.
· Assisting with sorting, counting, and organising inventory before packing.
· Supporting the logistics team with loading and moving completed orders.
General Production Support
· Adhering to daily production schedules and completing tasks within designated timeframes.
· Loading, unloading, and moving materials between different workstations.
· Immediately reporting any product defects, machine malfunctions, or material shortages to the supervisor.
· Strictly following all health, safety, and quality control procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements:
· Proven experience in a manufacturing, production, or general labour role.
· Ability to iron, clean, and prepare garments to a high professional standard.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
· Capability to follow instructions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
· Physically fit with the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Advantageous Skills:
· Previous experience in display work, sublimation printing, or garment handling.
· Basic technical or machine operation skills.
· Familiarity with packaging and order fulfilment processes.
