Auto Pedigree, part of Motus Corporation, is looking for a dependable and responsible Driver/Cleaner to join its Kuils River branch in the Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles, customers, documentation and other items safely and efficiently while ensuring that vehicles and the branch environment remain clean and presentable. Key Responsibilities
The Driver/Cleaner will support the daily operations of the Auto Pedigree branch by performing a combination of driving, vehicle care, delivery and general cleaning duties.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors to the required company standards.
- Inspecting vehicles and reporting issues that may affect their quality, roadworthiness or compliance.
- Identifying vehicles with expired licences and bringing these matters to the attention of the relevant team members.
- Delivering vehicles to customers safely and according to established company procedures.
- Collecting vehicles when required and ensuring that all movements are handled responsibly.
- Transporting documentation between the branch, banks, suppliers and clients.
- Collecting and delivering items or documents to designated destinations.
- Assisting with keeping the branch premises clean, orderly and presentable.
- Providing a professional and courteous service when dealing directly with customers.
- Following company procedures and applicable legal requirements when operating vehicles.
- Protecting company vehicles, equipment, documents and other assets entrusted to the employee.
- Carrying out additional reasonable duties as requested by management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
- A valid Code 08 unendorsed driver’s licence.
- Own reliable transport.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers in English.
- Must be fully bilingual.
- Ability to read and understand maps and navigate to different destinations.
- Good knowledge of responsible driving and vehicle care.
